Sophie Beaudoin, Owner and Director

Sophie has been the owner and director of MIM since 2003, and has developed the company into the success it is today. Sophie meets with all MIM hopefuls and carefully places each potential model in their appropriate training programs to begin their careers as professional top models. Along with handling the business aspects of the company, Sophie also closely manages our top models who are traveling abroad, and co-owns viens avec moi with stylist Renee Morra.

Renee Morra ,International Placement and Stylist

Renee has been working at MIM for seven years as a booking agent and stylist. As the head of International Placement, Renee works closely with models placed in Paris, London, New York, Tokyo, China, South Africa and more, as well as with models in development. Renee has worked very hard to develop the long-standing relationships that MIM has with many local and international clients and agents. Renee also works as a stylist for models and clients, and is co-owner of viens avec moi.

Dana Pizzolato, Booking Agent

Dana is the booking agent at MIM, currently managing local and international bookings. Dana holds an Honors Degree in Communication Studies with a concentration in Media Industries. Dana has been implementing innovative ideas to build the agency’s brand while she tackles the ins and outs of the fashion and modeling industry. Dana has created close connections with each individual model, insuring MIM models are actively working in the Ottawa fashion industry.

Jessica D'Angelo, Public Relations and New Faces Coordinator

Beginning as an assistant to Renee Morra, Jessica now manages the Public Relations at Models International. Her love for fashion has helped develop her career as a stylist. Jessica works with new faces to develop their image and modeling career by organizing test shoots, selecting the strongest photos, and putting together composite cards, and ensuring our models are well-prepared for the international world of modeling.

Doreen Flynn
Professional Modeling Coach
Doreen started as a student in the professional modeling program in 2004 and has since been working as a commercial model. Her profound interest in the arts and entertainment has lead her to be a popular guest on local television segments and she is often featured in magazines across Canada. Since 2009, Doreen has been the runway instructor at the agency and currently teaches it in our Professional Modeling Program. Doreen loves to watch her students grow in confidence and provides them with the skills to succeed as a model.

Gemma LeGresley
Professional Modeling Coach
Gemma joined the MIM team over six years ago when she moved to Ottawa. She has over 15 years of modeling experience and has been teaching new faces for over 10 years. Gemma teaches Photo Movement and Runway classes for the Professional Modeling Program. Gemma enjoys coaching models on how to walk the runway for fashion shows the most and has even choreographed several shows in Vancouver for clients. She loves to see the transformation in her students as they become more confident and professional as models.

Dina Renon
Kids Modeling Coach
Dina has recently returned from a 20 year stint in Tokyo working as a professional model. She joined the agency in 2010 and has had great success working as a local model here in Ottawa. Dina became a booking favorite instantly and is frequently featured in campaigns, magazines and TV segments. Dina uses experience and her fun nature to teach our kids classes here at the agency.

Taya Shevkenek Morris
Pro Modeling Coach and Make-up Artist
Taya has been with the agency since 1994, working as both a model and a coach. Taya is a successful commercial model, but has mostly been focusing on being a coach here at the agency. She is currently our Professional Modeling Coach, teaching our models in all the business classes. Taya also works as a make-up representative, being the prefect person to instruct the Make-Up classes. She provides tons of professional tips and tricks.

Ginette Deslauriers
Fitness Coach
Ginette has over 20 years experience in fitness. She is a well-respected international presenter and owner of Soule to Sole Mind and Body studio here in Ottawa. She is the international TV host of the show “Kardio Knockout” and was recognized as the Canadian Fitness Pro Speciality Presenter of the year in 2001. Ginette teaches the Nutrition and Fitness classes here at the agency. Her commitment to exploring martial arts and eastern philosophies have given Ginette a strong foundation for creating ground breaking workshops. All students and models receive a discount at Soule to Soul.

Ramata Coulibaly
Teen Modeling Coach
Ramata has been modeling for over two years now. Having Models International as her mother agency, Ramata has traveled the world being represented by top agencies. She recently returned from South Africa and had the opportunity to teach the MIM Teen Modeling Progroms. Ramata’s fun nature and professional experience makes her the perfect coach for young girls looking for a role model.
